Cole Palmer won the two main honors on the season’s award night, rewarding him for his outstanding debut season at Chelsea.
Palmer, who left Manchester City to play in the first team, has enjoyed taking on a more significant position under Mauricio Pochettino.
In all competitions, there have been 24 goals and 13 assists total, with 30 of those contributions occurring in the Premier League.
Palmer will be considered for other honors in the upcoming weeks, but after Erling Haaland’s four-goal performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend, he is now virtually out of the running to be the Premier League’s top striker.
Nevertheless, on Tuesday night, Chelsea conducted their awards night for the 2023–24 campaign, rewarding the 22-year-old for his performances.
Palmer was first presented with the Men’s Players’ Player Of The Year trophy, as voted for by the men’s first-team squad.
His second accolade was the Men’s Player Of The Year award, as voted for by the club’s supporters.
Speaking to those who attended the evening, Palmer said: “It’s been a dream debut season for me. Thank you to the manager, staff, players and, of course, the fans.
“I just came to play to showcase my abilities and talent to the fans. It’s gone amazing, probably better than I’d imagined. Buzzing.”
