Legendary Portuguese Manager, Jose Mourinho had reportedly agreed a two-year deal to become the manager of Turkish Club, Fenerbahçe.
Mourinho, 61, has been out of work since he was dismissed by AS Roma in January.
Fenerbahçe, on their own, parted ways with previous boss Ismail Kartal on Friday.
The club confirmed in a statement that they are in talks with ‘the Special One’ 24hrs ago.
“Our company has started negotiations with Jose Mario Dos Santos Mourinho Felix for the post of Football A team coach,” the Fenerbahce post read.
“It is announced with respect to our investors.”
However, the news on Jose Mourinho agreeing a two-year deal with the Turkish Club appeared on Fabrizio Romano’s X handle.
Romano is famed for his accurate transfer news.
“José Mourinho has just signed the contract as new Fenerbahçe head coach, here we go!” he tweeted.
“After verbal agreement in the morning, deal sealed until June 2026 — two year contract for the Special One.”
