Aston Villa have confirmed the departure of Douglas Luiz from the club.
The club confirmed it in a short statement on its Facebook page.
“Aston Villa can confirm that Douglas Luiz has joined Juventus,” it read.
During his time in Birmingham, Douglas Luiz became one of the very best midfielders in the Premier League, scoring 22 goals and providing 24 assists in his 204 appearances.
The Brazil international has signed a 5-year contract until 30 June, 2029 with the Bianconeri.
