President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to deliver a keynote address as the two-day the North West Governors Forum meeting commences in Katsina on Monday.
The meeting is being held in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
It is also the maiden edition of the North West Peace and Security Summit.
Tinubu will also commission the state-of-the-art 16-bed dialysis centre at the General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital built by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.
He will also perform the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of the new Katsina Eastern Bypass that spans from Dutsinma Road to Kano Road, passing through Daura Road and ending in Yandaki village in Kaita LGA.
The summit is billed to address the raging banditry, terrorism and communal conflicts being experienced in the region.
If the president makes the visit, it would be his first official visit to the state since took over government on May 29, 2023.
