A Florida-based cruise company, Villa Vie Residences, is offering Americans a unique opportunity to escape the Trump administration by traveling the world on a cruise ship.
The company’s “Tour La Vie” program allows passengers to spend up to four years visiting over 140 countries, with prices starting at around $160,000 per person.
The program offers four different packages: the one-year “Escape from Reality” cruise, the two-year “Mid-Term Selection” cruise, the three-year “Everywhere but Home” cruise, and the four-year “Skip Forward” option.
Villa Vie Residences’ founder and CEO, Mikael Petterson, stated that the marketing campaign was designed to offer an escape regardless of the political outcome, but it has gained particular interest following Trump’s re-election.
The cruise ship, Villa Vie Odyssey, can house up to 600 residents and offers amenities such as food and drinks, WiFi, medical services, bi-weekly laundry, and housekeeping.
The company aims to provide a safe and luxurious escape for those looking to avoid the political climate in the United States.
