A Nigerian POS agent fell victim to a ₦419 scam when a ₦400,000 note turned into paper after a customer visited her shop to deposit the money for transfer to another account.
In a viral video, a woman narrates the incident while showing a stack of paper shaped like money. The caption reads: “Please, anybody doing POS, be wise.”
She explained that a man had visited the shop, made a transfer, and dropped ₦400,000. After he left, the money turned into paper.
