President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed a bill establishing the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) into law.
The announcement was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a session in the Senate chamber.
“Let me also inform my colleagues that Mr President has also assented to the North-Central Development Commission establishment bill 2024, to bring development to the grassroots,’ he said.
Akpabio expressed optimism that the establishment of NCDC would bring development to the grassroots.
He congratulated the people of the North-Central region of Nigeria and wished them more development and peace as the nation continues its task of nation-building.
