This significant milestone was announced on November 27, 2024, by the company secretary, Sunday Ekwochi. The acquisition is part of Access Bank’s strategic expansion across sub-Saharan Africa, with plans for further acquisitions in Cameroon, The Gambia, and Tanzania.
